Some areas of North Middlesex are currently experiencing a power outage.

The Parkhill Library is open until 8pm for those that need a place to keep warm.

In the event of a power outage:

- listen to the radio for updates
- keep cellphones fully charged prior to outage

- keep fridge/freezer doors closed as much as possible
- avoid unnecessary travel
- check on the elderly and your neighbours
- never leave burning candles unattended
