Omega Contractors on behalf of the Municipality will be completing watermain construction works north-east of the intersection of McGillivray Drive and Grand Bend Road at the Steeper Extension Drain.
The project consists of lowering a portion of watermain that goes underneath the Drain as it is far too shallow and not installed at the proper minimum depth. These works will be primarily contained in the boulevard and off the roadway, and no tangible impacts to traffic are anticipated. The works are scheduled to start February 10th and take roughly two (2) weeks depending on weather conditions.
